Geomodeling Announces Appointment of New Product Managers
Two Software Applications to Benefit from the Guidance of Experienced Professionals

CALGARY, Alberta--Geomodeling Technology Corp. is pleased to announce the addition of two new Product Managers. Mr. Les Dabek, P. Geol., will take over SBED™, Geomodeling’s near bore-hole property modeling and upscaling package. Mr. Peter Phillips, P. Geol., will oversee the deterministic reservoir modeling package, SBEDStudio™. Both bring a solid background in geology to their roles and great vision for the development of their respective products.
Mr. Dabek is a registered (APEGGA) Professional Geologist with over 14 years of experience in the mining, energy and high technology industry sectors. He brings with him a strong background in geological exploration, seismic, geochemical and geophysical interpretation and software development. Over the last seven years, Mr. Dabek has been involved in the development and management of 3D earth modeling and seismic interpretation software, and gained significant exposure to the challenges faced by small, mid and large size exploration companies. Most recently, Mr. Dabek was Manager of Geophysical and Geological Operations for Geomodeling Technology Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada.
Mr. Philips brings more than 25 years experience as an exploration geologist and information technology specialist to Geomodeling. His exploration and reservoir characterization experience includes Canada’s east coast offshore, the western Canadian Sedimentary Basin , the oil sands of northern Alberta, Kazakhstan, the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and offshore India, . Mr. Phillips offers an extensive background in information technology systems - including -experience in the definition of business requirements for product evaluation and implementation. As a geologist, he has both managed exploration programs and led exploration teams. Prior to his current role Mr. Phillips was Reservoir Modeling Services Manager for Geomodeling Technology Corp. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Geology from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada and is a registered (APEGGA) Professional Geologist.
