Geomodeling is recruiting for a seasoned, dynamic, service oriented geophysicist with extensive knowledge of geoscience. You have a genuine interest and curiosity in high technology and its use to define and maximize reservoir potential. Your knowledge, experience and project work extends into the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin as well as the International arena.
Accountabilities:
• Manage and execute western Canadian project work with your demonstrated years of experience
• Mentor user and research and development groups
• Teach training courses
• Prepare technical presentations for industry conferences, clients and technical organizations
• Write and review technical articles as needed
• Assist with pre-and post-sales support
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience in an interpretive role
• Skilled at learning new software and techniques
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation skills
A good contact base in the oil and gas industry and an APEGGA membership would be considered assets.
You must demonstrate creativity, take initiative, embrace a positive attitude and enjoy working effectively in a team. You are a self starter who is familiar with or adapts well to an entrepreneurial setting. .
