Senior Geologist

Our products are used by major oil & gas companies, independent oil & gas companies, and service companies world-wide to reduce uncertainty, and more accurately understand the subsurface in order to discover, measure, and extract existing and future energy resources.

Geomodeling is poised for significant global growth and expansion. We are seeking a Senior Geologist in our Houston office to help us to drive this growth. The person selected for this position will have the unique opportunity to be part of a team building the next generation of energy products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical sales support for new client development and existing client support in the reservoir modeling software solutions arena
• Mentor user, research, and development groups
• Teach training courses
• Prepare technical presentations for industry conferences, clients, and technical organizations

Qualifications:

• Experience in reservoir characterization studies
• Seasoned geologist with extensive knowledge of reservoir modeling applications
• Skilled at learning new software and techniques
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate creativity, take initiative, embrace a positive attitude, and enjoy working effectively in a team
• Background in geomodeling, geostatistics, sedimentology, and petrophysics is an asset
